We stayed in Maradiva for 8 days for our honeymoon. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a resort as this isn't our usual type of preferred accommodation. However, Maradiva far exceed expectations of what a resort should be. It was a unique stay, where we had our own beautiful villa and pool, with luxurious amenities. The villa is serviced twice a day, with turn down service. The beach was mere seconds away (very well-kept, never crowded with well spaced sun loungers, and helpful staff who check on your comfort and provide drinks and snacks). There are three restaurants to choose from- each exquisite in their own way and any request catered for. There is also a lovely spa with heated pool, and gym. We had an absolutely amazing time in Maradiva- we were given complimentary Raj tent dining by the beach and a spa treatment for our honeymoon. Suffice to say this was a decadent experience, but the true gems of Maradiva are the staff who work tirelessly to look after the guests as if they are their own family members visiting them. Aqeel, Nitish, Pritila, Yeshta, and many others have made the whole experience beyond memorable. We will truly treasure our time in Mauritius & Maradiva, and will wholeheartedly recommend choosing Maradiva if you want an exceptional experience.

it was the most absolut perfect place to relax and enjoy our Honeymoon. we have been to many different hotels and Resorts but Maradiva will always be something special. The Villas were absolutely stunning and always cleaned to perfection by Babita and her Team. The service in all of the hotel is exceptional. The privat beach is very quiet and is very spread out so it always feels like you are by yourself. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and any „special wishes“ we taken care of by the great Staff (Yudish our waiter for most of the time was absolutely wonderful) Nitish was responsible for a lot of the employees and he was always ready to help you with anything you needed and made you feel like you are the most special guest in the Resort (He also makes the best cocktails on the Island) The main Pool has breathtaking views! The boat house staff and all the activities you can do (a lot are included in the price) were a highlight! Thierry learned us how to wakeboard in only a couple of tries! We will be coming back here with a 100% guarantee and hope that everything will be on point like it was during our honeymoon! thank you so much for making it unforgettable!!

Our villa was outstanding, spacious, private and with the most wonderful outdoor space with private plunge pool etc. We have stayed in some of the best hotels on our travels but this was exceptional in terms of space, ambience, and amazing value for money! The staff went out of their way to make our stay special and we would like to say a really big thank you for the effort they made to do so! We had some fantastic meals and the chef went above and beyond to prepare us the most delicious meals. The spa was also excellent (award winning), brilliantly run by the wonderful Dr Nair, who is also an Ayurvedic Doctor with extensive international experience at leading spas/ retreats, and we felt very lucky to have this world class experience on our holiday. We would highly recommend Maradiva Villas and we were very sad to leave and will return.

A very pleasant surprise. The villas are wonderful and very smart located inside the resort. Because everything was renovated a couple of years ago it all looks great. The restaurants, lobby area and the bar are very nice and provide a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, except for fruits and vegetables which are not very tasty (all import). The beach experience is great, with a very beautiful water and sandy beach with sunbeds located 10-15 m apart. The staff is more friendly than in other hotels on the island (mauritius people are not very friendly by default). Oliver was a great host on the beach and Minta a great concierge during our stay. The overall experience is great, the hotel provides you 2 times cleaning per day, complimentary treats on the beach and in the room and a very diverse mini bar. It is a hotel in which we can return anytime with great pleasure.

Great service, adequate to a price. True variety in restaurants, they are totally not alike as in some resorts. Beach is not top notch for sea swimmers, but that is a general thing at Mauritius. Still good for sport and jogging. Overall expensive but is worth it.
